This month was pretty cool! Darlene (of Ice-T fame) dropped by Hot 97 with her new book, Drewski started a new show on Hot, I interviewed Ty for INTPL, got a bunch of fan love in LA with Joey and hit ATL for a party with with French Montana and Post Malone.

I got the privilege to host the intermission of Joe’s All Love Lost Tour in NYC with Rory, and it was amazing! Fans were yelling for us and everything. What a blessing!
Drewski and I put together a FREE event for all creatives from our home state, and it was a total success! Myself, Hot97′s music director TT Torrez and DJ Bobby Trends spoke to the crowd and answered questions about the music business, and even Naughty By Nature’s Vin Rock showed up to drop some gems! Shout out to everyone who came out to learn, network and keep this Jersey movement going! We’ll be bringing you guys much more of this soon!

Last night was a night of epic proportions for the entire state of New Jersey. The first official Jersey Music Meeting was hosted by our very own Marisa Mendez and DJ Drewski of Hot 97!
Taking place at Dolce Lounge in Elizabeth, NJ, over 300 people packed out the 2-room venue for an exclusive Q&A session with the most prominent faces of New Jersey including Hot 97 music director, TT Torrez, DJ Bobby Trends, Vin Rock of Naughty By Nature, Itchy House Productions, and OVO Sound producer, Mike Zombie.
Although the event was geared towards musicians, all creatives were invited to show up, ask questions, network, and get answers to their most burning questions about their respective industries. So much knowledge was offered at the event, and incredible gems were dropped about how to further yourself in whatever path in life you choose.

Our Jersey guy can do no wrong! Fetty Wap has long shed his “one hit wonder” predictions, and now has not one, not two, not three…but FOUR songs in the top 10 of Billboard‘s Hot Rap Songs chart.
His longest-running hit is of course “Trap Queen,” which still sits comfortably at number 2. It’s followed by the Monty-assisted “My Way” at number 3, the Remy Boyz-assisted “679” at number 5, and is now joined by “Again,” entering the chart for its first week at number 8.
