On Tuesday, February 2, I’ll Name This Podcast Later celebrated its one-year anniversary (albeit a week early) with a live podcast at the legendary SOB’s in NYC. We sold out the event in less than three weeks, and the venue was PACKED with fans from all over (parts of Texas, Chicago, Maryland, North Carolina, Boston, Montreal), as well as all of our friends and family. It was truly one of the greatest nights of my life, and I can’t thank you guys enough for making it so special for me.

During the 2+ hour long show, we discussed a few current events, took a few fan questions, heard Joey and Johnny G‘s crazy L.A. story…and I was forced to perform my horrible, awful 2006 song, “Lick It Or Not.” What a time…

Gwen Stefani Launches Makeup Collection With Urban Decay

On Thursday night, I had the pleasure of attending the exclusive launch party for Urban Decay‘s makeup collection with Gwen Stefani. The collection includes an eyebrow palette, a blush palette, an eyebrow kit, lip liners and a selection of lipsticks – which features a wide range of vibrant reds (very Gwen-like) with equally Gwen-like names such as “Spiderweb,” “Phone Call” and “Ex-Girlfriend.”

The event was everything you’d expect from something with the former No Doubt frontwoman’s name on it, with Vashtie providing music as the cocktails flowed, and even a live band coming in later on in the evening. I was BEYOND excited that we were treated to the entire collection, and I have been switching up my lip color ever since! Stay tuned to my Instagram for previews of each shade.

Our first annual Hot 4 The Holidays concert was a success! So many artists stopped by and paid homage to Busta Rhymes’ career with some amazing performances, making for quite the nostalgic night. I covered the green carpet for the 2015 BET Hip-Hop Awards for Blame Ebro, and it was such a dope experience! There was also a ton of things going on that weekend because the annual A3C Festival was going on as well.

Shout to the Taylor Gang crew for the hospitality on Sunday night, T-Pain, Lil B, Casey Veggies and Smack White for the interviews, Stix Malone for showing me around the A, Q and Tef for taking me to the Falcons game, Joey, Zombie and the crew for our night out and of course, my road dog Gia!
